Citadel Roofing & Solar is looking for a part-time Entry Level Recruiter (preferably bilingual English/Spanish) to support our high-volume, hard-to-fill positions for our Installation and Operations team. This position is in our corporate office in Vacaville and will report directly to the VP of Human Resources.

The Entry Level Recruiter will source, attract, screen, and identify a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent to present to hiring managers. The Recruiter will work to source and engage candidates through the use of social and professional networking platforms (i.e. Company Website, LinkedIn, Ziprecruiter, Indeed, etc.). The Entry Level Recruiter will also help with back-office responsibilities including scheduling interviews and processing background checks.

This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels. You should be comfortable working in a very fast-paced recruiting environment where priorities can change quickly and often. Depending on the requisition count, the workload will scale up and down.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruiting for various roles, including warehouse workers, Superintendents, Installers, and operation employees
• Develop a keen understanding of various roles within the organization
• Review and evaluate inbound candidate applications
• Build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the company’s hiring needs
• Source suitable candidates through LinkedIn and other channels
• Post, update and remove job ads from job boards and careers pages
• Coordinate video and in person interviews for candidates
• Assist with the background and pre-employment screening process
• Facilitate calls with Hiring Managers to update on searches, discuss challenges, and design action plans
• Identify opportunities for improving recruiting operations and process
• Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times, both internally and externally with our candidates
• Support other Talent Acquisition activities or projects, as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of sourcing, and recruiting experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to remain confidential with sensitive information
• Ability to communicate open roles to a broad range of candidates, regardless of their experience level
• React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
• Understand when to take ownership of a decision and when to involve other parties.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive while multitasking
• Must be flexible, have a strong work ethic, and a strong desire to get stuff done
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with managing job postings on boards such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Craigslist, LinkedIn
• Excellent PC skills including MS Office
• Ability to work during standard Monday through Friday business days
