As our Executive Assistant, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team through an exciting period of growth and transition. You will provide support to the Executive Leadership team across various initiatives, including scheduling support for the CEO and key responsibilities related to data entry and coordination. You will use your strong relationship management skills to connect the dots on communications efforts within the organization and ensure exceptional relationship management between the internal team and Board of Directors.
This is a great opportunity to get a bird's eye view into the culture, strategy and operations of a growing nonprofit organization, and build deep partnerships with an Executive Team and the CEO. This role reports directly to the CEO and is based out of our office in downtown Boston.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage CEO Schedule & Administrative Support (60%)
Own the CEO's calendar, ensuring the CEO's time is allocated in accordance with organizational priorities
Leverage the CEO's time by ensuring excellent advance preparation and diligent follow-up for all meetings, internally and externally
Provide general administrative support to the CEO, including scheduling travel, managing expenses, and other duties as required
Prioritize and act on all inbound correspondence to the CEO; draft and send responses as appropriate
Proactively analyze the CEO's use of time on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities to increase efficiency & effectiveness
Lead on budget development and management for the Office of the CEO
Serve as primary point-of-contact for all internal staff with needs requiring the CEO's attention
Enter all guests into Building Engines as requested by staff for 1 Beacon Street (Citizen Schools Headquarters Office) in partnership with the Operations Coordinator
Actively participate, engage and lead on key projects as assigned by the CEO or requiring feedback from the Office of the CEO
Manage logistics for Executive Team meetings and retreats, making sure to take notes and summarize action steps
Support National Board and Councils (20%)
Research & Evaluation / Data Coordination & Entry (20%)
