Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The FSR 1 is responsible for delivering the Citizens Experience by providing excellent customer service with each interaction while performing routine banking center and customer service duties. The following sets forth the primary responsibilities of this position.

1. Accept deposits of cash and/or checks.
2. Process withdrawals and cash checks up to designated limits.
3. Accept loan payments of all types.
4. Balance cash and negotiable items.
5. Sell cashier’s checks and bank money orders.
6. Process cash advances of credit/debit cards.
7. Maintain assigned combination and/or key control.
8. Process account maintenance changes as requested by customers and management.
9. Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
10. Achieve sales and service goals by promoting bank services and cross-selling of bank products based on customer needs.
11. Assist in the opening and closing of branch.
12. Follow Customer Privacy and Information Security Policy and Procedure for communication with clients, vendors and associates.
13. Adherence to bank's operational compliance, audit and security policies and applicable state and federal laws.
14. Other duties as designated by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Must have high school diploma or equivalency degree and 1-2 years of relevant banking experience. Need to be able to balance cash drawer and meet the bank’s standards for both number and amount of cash differences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for this positon. May also require lifting 25-35 pounds occasionally, lifting 2 to 5 pounds frequently, and the ability to travel between branches, if requested.
