    Join our financial services team as a Business Development Officer/Commercial lender where we are currently rated a 5 Star Bank by both Bauer Financial and Bankrate.com!

     

    Our Business Development Officers/Commercial Lenders partner with our clients to understand their financial goals and recommend products and services that will enable our clients to achieve their goals. All lending decisions are made locally and quickly. 

     

    Our BDOs are responsible for prospecting and evaluating new business client opportunities for CNB. The BBO will originate and close loans including C & I, Commercial Real Estate and Agricultural Loans. Other primary responsibilities include gathering deposits and promoting Treasury management products along with electronic banking services. Our BBOs maintain and service their portfolios with the help of a Lending Assistant and a processing team. They represent the bank through active participation in community affairs and participating in the marketing all of the bank's products and services.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field, excellent communication, sales and public relations skills, good interviewing and research skills. Credit training is required. Continuing education to remain current in new regulations, products, and changes in laws, etc. is required.

    Required Experience

    Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience, and a background in commercial real estate loans are desired. We will consider one to two years of experience in a financial institution or loan setting, previous sales experience, basic understanding of financial institution policies and procedures.
