  • Responsibilities

    You  will  gain  the  necessary  skills  required  to  create,  market,  and  facilitate  successful  training programs, and develop leadership and critical thinking skills by working under the direction and guidance of the three Workforce Training Managers.

     

    Duties assigned to the intern will include but are not limited to the following:

     

    Training Development and Marketing

    • Monitor and maintain the website.
    • Assist with creating and editing marketing materials

     

    Classroom Management

    • Communicate with students via email: welcome email, reminder, and logistics info. Prepare class surveys and QR code instructions
    • Prepare course content: sign-in, wallet cards, SNAP documents, classroom sign and booklet materials Welcome class/ introductions
    • Provide sign in sheet to have certificates of completion sent out· Remove course website logistics from website
    • Input and analyze survey results

     

    Assist with Special Events

    • Safety Fest Coordination and manning of Workforce Table Represent WFD&T at SOAR and WOW week events
    • Career Fairs
    • Future Camp projects
    • Other special event coordination

     

    Skills Required:

    • Manage a multitude of courses with varying dates and requirements showcasing your strong organizational skills.
    • Communicate verbally and in writing with students, instructors and internal team members.
    • Utilize your Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook) skills to  draft  communication,  organize  projects  and present  new  initiatives.
    • Exercise your attention to detail by proofreading outbound communication and ensuring stakeholders are followed-up with consistently.
    • Research and respond to the workforce needs of the community creatively utilizing strong problem- solving skills.
    • Refine your customer service skills through calls and emails with customers ensuring we continue to drive CSI's student- focused mission.
    • Learn the ins and outs of project management driven by your curiosity and desire to learn.
    • Work independently and as part of a team, assisting on a variety of projects and day- to- day administrative tasks.

    KPS Global is looking for a Materials Manager who will be responsible for managing and directing the uninterrupted flow of material and the customer fulfillment process and logistical requirements for KPS Global. They will also be responsible for the execution of the Inventory management strategy by directing the company's inventory control and inventory record accuracy programs.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES  

    • Ensure uninterrupted flow of material (success will demand solid relationships with Supply Chain)

    • Ensure the customer fulfillment process and logistical requirements are met daily

    • Oversees Material Handling

    • 100% Receiving Inspection accuracy & transaction timeliness

    • 100% Inventory Accuracy

    • Support Production

    • Re-align the Material Handler/Coordinator new job duties

    • Collaborate with Operation Managers to ensure performance evaluations are timely and accurate.

    • Implement & defined replenishment strategies within Microsoft GBOS - ERP system, & refine with history

    • Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions, BOM errors and stock numbers

    • Own, refine, and implement Cycle count program. Lead reconciliation process with Accounting

    • Implement KPI’s for tracking purpose: I:e Warehouse accuracy 95% or better, safety rate, productivity, pallets per hour, cases per hour

    • Direct the timely purchasing resources through the purchasing staff for different manufacturing plant needs 

    • Coordinate production planning and control, inventory, and traffic process for business units 

    • Providing resources and budgets 

    • Managing staffing requirements 

    • Direct and participate in a continuous improvement program 

    • Acting as a liaison between manufacturing locations and related functional departments 

    • Participate in management reviews of the system 

    • Participate in quality planning for division and for areas of responsibility 

    • Lead and direct work with buyers on a daily basis 

    • Resolving issues in various departments as needed 

    • Source and update requirements with vendors on a weekly basis 

    • Supervise material control across the division

     

    REPORTING / ANALYTICS

    • Analyzes operational variances, extracts, and reviews historical data, incorporates projected scrap allowances, production efficiencies, and on-time adherence while working with operational teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
    • Report out and action supplier on-time delivery and quality measures
    • Drive YOY inventory accuracy improvements, inventory levels & on-time performance.
