    REMOTE OPTIONS AVAILABLE

    Serve as a key member of the PAR Government business development staff. Individual will help develop the overall customer strategy, forge internal and external partnerships, identify new business opportunities, develop business plans and associated marketing assigned with the customer/opportunities, shape opportunities so that PAR Government is positioned favorably, provide comprehensive intelligence on the customer budget and technical needs to support the proposal process, and after award assist with operational requirements.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Lead complex captures resulting in winning proposals on highly competitive DoD Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
    • Develop productive relationships with customers and competitors for large DoD enterprise IT business opportunities
    • Function independently while representing PAR Government enterprise capabilities, organizations, and business interests
    • Proactively identify new business opportunities
    • Perform market research to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of customer budget, capabilities required, current customer preferences, competitive environment assessments, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses
    • Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices
    • Support the organization as the lead for call plan development and execution, and provide detailed reports on follow up activities after plan execution
    • Participate in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews
    • Collaborate with other capture managers to support larger business development objectives and customer engagement needs
    • Support overall strategic planning metrics including Annual Operating Plan (AOP) new business revenue and FTE goals, as well as pipeline goals
    • Interact routinely with all levels of management, functional POCs, staff, and customers, and follow through on tasking
    • Briefs capture status to senior management at specified milestones
    • Conduct “hot wash” reviews for all prime business opportunity capture participants, help document lessons learned, and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions
    • Flexibility to travel as required, based on negotiated work location, up to 50% per month
    • Use automated tools such as Microsoft Office and our CRM to present and record ideas, information, and generate reports
    • Other reasonable duties as assigned by your manager and/or required by the position

    Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years of related experience, including experience supporting DoD enterprise IT environments (including data centers)
    • Prior experience working directly with Military personnel and government leaders at all levels of seniority
    • ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE (WITH ABILITY TO OBTAIN TS/SCI)
