Hours - Full Time (40)

The Marketing and Events Coordinator Intern will help oversee and coordinate marketing projects and initiatives, internal and external events; be an active participant in working with the Marketing Director in maintaining a friendly, productive relations with key business and community groups. This includes all event logistics, execution and activation of leads and opportunities. Participates in creating marketing materials and collateral and supports day-to-day marketing activities.

• Provides administrative support as needed to the Marketing Director.
• Organizes and maintains shared files and brand/marketing assets.
• Processes invoices on a timely basis and submit to Finance for payment.
• Manages approvals of employee requests for marketing materials on FiSi/Supply Manager.
• Maintains archive of news mentions and advertisements.
• Performs additional duties as needed to support the day-to-day activities of the marketing team.
• Participates in any marketing and corporate communication duties as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university prefer
• A 2-year degree with a minimum prefer
• 6 months to 3 years’ experience in event coordination and planning may substitute.
• Event and marketing experience desirable.
• Excellent aptitude with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Ability to work in an open environment. Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task.
