    Accounting Specialist/Office ManagerOur Accounting Specialist efficiently delivers customer service to internal & external customers, including Vendors & Contractors, along with our Operational & Sales teams. Working independently, responsible for recording timely and accurate financial transactions for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Payroll (interaction with outside Payroll Service), Account Reconciliations & Financial Statements. Maintains positive attitude and professional demeanor with a high level of organization skills.

    Essential Functions

    Contract management; ensure accuracy of monthly contract billing.

    Independent contractor management, compliance, and accurate payments.

    Vendor management - credit cards, insurance, facilities and supply houses.

    Payroll management and processing.

    Ensure accuracy of financial records – reconciling all balance sheet accounts monthly and generating Income Statements while maintaining confidentiality.

    Create reports from financial statements, explain to management variances.

    Comply with local, state, and federal government sales tax requirements.

    General office and administrative duties; phone calls, filing, some outbound follow up calls, set service appointments to support sales and service team members.

    Position Requirements

    Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or work equivalent.

    Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.

    MS Great Plains Accounting and/or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Accounting software knowledge.

    Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) fluency.

    Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures in a timely manner.

    Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.

    Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

    Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution to problems or to deal with proactively.

    These knowledge, skills, and abilities are a plus:

    CRM (Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, NetSuite).

    Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish

    Experience in janitorial, property management, or building maintenance.
