    City Wide Franchise is seeking an experienced Legal/Accounting professional for a new role in our Corporate Office, Accounting & Legal Specialist, Corporate Entities. This position will be located in our Home Office, located in Lenexa, KS. The Accounting & Legal Specialist, Corporate Entities will be responsible for the legal administration and accounting services support for the City Wide Corporate Office. This dual role will coordinate the compliance for all corporate entities of City Wide and maintain the full cycle of accounting services for these entities.City Wide Franchise is a fast growing company with 70 franchise locations across the US and Canada. If you are an individual who has a strong work ethic and are challenged best in a setting where performance is recognized and rewarded, then consider a career with City Wide!Responsibilities will include:Coordinate the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities and assist with corporate restructuring activities.

    Formation, maintenance of corporate minute books (Articles of Incorporation, Operating and Partnership Agreements, Annual Minutes, Annual Reports, etc.)

    Complete all required Secretary of State and IRS filings related to corporate entities and records

    Monthly transaction entry of all billings/receivables/vendor payments

    Preparation of customer invoices and follow up activity

    Tracking, reporting and maintaining accounts receivable and payable within acceptable guidelines

    Manage banking relationships and reporting requirements

    Property management

    Assistance with ME, YE financial reporting

    Competencies:

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal documents or paralegal position with specific experience in setting up legal entities

    Significant experience managing corporate records and minute books

    Experience with accounting (or bookkeeping) to include preparation of financial statements

    Demonstrated attention to detail, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    Ability to work well under pressure.

    Ability to initiate, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet and anticipate frequent deadlines in a timely manner, and manage projects independently from start to finish.

    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

    Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Bachelors’ degree preferred not required; paralegal training certification is a plus.
