Facility Maintenance Manager
City Wide Facility Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Manager to perform general facility repairs and preventive maintenance tasks throughout City Wide managed facilities. As a City Wide Maintenance Manager your responsibilities may include but are not limited to general facility repairs, preventative maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, lightbulb and ballast replacement, carpentry, landscaping, moving of equipment and furniture, cleaning of facilities and floors.

Essential Functions:
Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Electrical systems – bulbs, ballasts switches, outlets, etc.
Plumbing Systems – commercial faucets, flushers, sinks, drains, water heaters etc.
Working knowledge of fire panels, elevator control and alarm systems.
Doors - repair locks, door handles, closers and hinges
Carpentry – repair cabinets, moldings doors etc.
Patch and Paint – repair walls to include drywall hanging, taping mudding and painting
Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Create inspection, maintenance, and repair schedule, including liturgical requirements.
Manage purchasing of bulk facility goods and maintenance materials, and maintain product inventory.
Grounds - exterior walkways, stairs, patio, fences, lawn & garden care.
Snow removal
Manage purchasing of bulk facility goods and maintenance materials, and maintain product inventory.
Be the onsite contact for out-sourced contracted services
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented manner in all interactions.
Ability to adapt to changing needs, to be open to new ideas, and take on new responsibilities.
Honest, mature and have excellent communication skills
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Reliable automobile, valid MO Driver’s License, insurance, and a good driving record
Ability to stand, walk and move rapidly for an 8 hour work shift.
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb stairs and ladders. Ability to perform repetitious movements- including arm, wrist and hands
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Energetic, hard-working, dependable, organized and detail-oriented
On occasion, willingness and availability to work other shifts and overtime
Must be able to pass a background check
We would like to have a conversation with someone who has:
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field
Basic PC skills
