    Job Description:

    BK Lobster Baltimore is seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
    • Ensure the presentation and quality of food is consistent with our restaurant's high standards
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times
    • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations
    • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service
    • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
    • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
    • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Kitchen Manager
    • Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sanitizing countertops, cutting boards, and utensils
    • Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and optimize profitability

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
    • Food Safety Certificate is required
    • Familiarity with the Toast POS system is highly preferred
    • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Culinary school diploma or equivalent training
    • Experience in a high-volume kitchen
