Job Description

The City of Gladstone, Missouri is seeking a full-time Accountant. The position provides assistance and support to the Finance Department and includes a wide verity of responsibilities. Job duties include but are not limited to revenue/expense tracking and projections, licensing, project accounting, contract administration, financial system transactions, and administrative duties.

Qualified candidates will be solution oriented, customer service-minded, possess strong communications skills and be willing to embrace challenges while building and maintaining effective/positive work relationships.  Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Accounting, and have sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position.
