Job Title: Concessions Staff

Department: Parks and Recreation

Pay Type: Part-time, Non-exempt, hourly

Shift: Variable

Location: Southside Softball Complex, Winter Wonderland, and Pool Center

Position Summary: Provides excellent customer service to patrons visiting Jonesboro Parks and Recreation concessions stands. This position assists patrons with payments, food orders, and cleaning. This position requires nights and weekends including some holidays.

Duties:

• Greets patrons in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Completes transactions and accept payments
• Maintains work station
• Keeps supplies stocked and rotated
• Reports any concerns or problems to immediate supervisor
• Required to complete closing checklist including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, and washing dishes

Physical Requirements:

· Significant walking or other means of mobility.

· Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds.

· Generally in an indoor setting; however, may supervise outside activities and events.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
