The City of Mandan, North Dakota is currently accepting applications for part time positions of:
Junior Firefighter – Grade 16.
Salary: $19.85 per hour.
Applications without a resume will be disqualified. Position remains open on a continuous basis. Please Note: This is an on-call position that averages two hours per week.
6.1.1. Knowledge of the incident command system
6.1.2. Knowledge of modern firefighting practices and procedures
6.1.3. Knowledge of modern emergency medical practices and procedures
6.1.4. Knowledge of modern forms of fire apparatus and equipment
6.1.5. Skill in the use of a variety of fire suppression and emergency rescue equipment and tools
6.1.6. Skill in the use of computers and related software programs
6.1.7. Skill in the provision of emergency medical care
6.1.8. Ability to pass Firefighter physical fitness test
Applicants who are residents of North Dakota and eligible to claim veteran’s preference must include Form DD-214.
