Peoria's Lil' Learners Preschool program is licensed by the Department of Health Services, offered at Sunrise Family Center for students ages 3 - 5. You will supervise and monitor children in your care by actively participating with them through play and staff led enrichment, such as literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects. If you have a passion for working with children, this job is for you! The ideal candidate would be a results oriented, people person who is 16 years or older, and loves working with children. Lil' Learners Preschool is looking for individuals to help provide an enhanced experience, enjoys positive participant interactions, fast pace schedule and the opportunity to make a difference. Preferred staff will be able to work variable hours Monday through Friday during the business hours of 6am to 6pm and wants to contribute to the City of Peoria's vision. You will have to be able to acquire a Fingerprint Clearance Card (18 years or older), CPR/First Aid certificate, a valid negative TB Test, and have or gain an understanding of DHS guidelines and practices. You must have a High School diploma or be enrolled in High School, High School equivalent or GED program. It is required for ALL employees to work the July 4th Special Event in the summer and 2-3 special events during the year.
