Civic Tax is a rapidly growing national tax resolution/preparation firm. We are looking for a growth-minded, self-motivated, high-energy Tax Professional to join our team at our Irvine location.

This full-time Enrolled Agent career opportunity has a Monday - Friday schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calling and dealing with the IRS or State for U.S tax payers
• OIC, CNC, IA and PPIA expertise at setting up with IRS agent
• Innocent Spouse Relief
• Wage/Bank Levy Release
• Lien Removal
• Audit Defense
• Prepare and review federal income tax returns of various complexities for individuals and businesses
• Prepare and review client tax liability projections and what-if scenarios
• Sort and review documents submitted by our clients for relevance, accuracy/completeness and perform due diligence
• Keep detailed work papers and document your positions and entries
• Flexible to work overtime as needed
• Develop positive staff and client relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of tax preparation experience preferred
• Enrolled Agent License Required or Tax Attorney License
• Strong organization, communication, customer service, and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong Windows PC skills
• Ability to multi-task in a professional environment and maintain efficiency under stressful deadline conditions
