Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to assist with preparing returns.

You will be responsible for income tax preparation for individuals and companies.

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Preparing federal income tax returns (Forms 1040) in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations
• Identifying potential tax credits and liabilities
• Utilizing proprietary work paper software to organize/prepare work paper's that accompany the tax returns
• Ensures accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

1+ years of experience preparing 1040 and 1120, 1065 tax returns

• Strong understanding of Schedules A, B, C, D, E and K1s
• Previous usage of at least one of the following Tax Preparation software programs
• Pro-Series
