Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a self-directed, energetic, civically-minded individual who wants to apply their curriculum design, adult learning, and facilitation skills to building organizational capacity in the public sector. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver training offerings that help public servants get comfortable with large-scale digital transformation and change management initiatives.
You will be primarily focused on one large client with the opportunity to take on additional client work as it becomes available. Your primary client for 2019 will be a large local municipality that is implementing a new ERP (enterprise resource planning) software (Tyler Technologies) citywide. The training manager will get up to speed on the technology quickly, design the curriculum, select the best delivery methods, and coordinate the training of all city employees.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about bringing innovation to the public and nonprofit sectors and will have excellent management, interpersonal, organizational, facilitation and communication skills.

COMPENSATION Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. We expect to pay between $50 and $75 an hour. The position will begin as a contract position at 20 - 30 hours per week with the potential to grow into a permanent, full-time position after a 6-month performance evaluation and needs assessment.
LOCATION You will work out of our sunny San Francisco office on the top floor of Impact Hub San Francisco, a co-working space for impact-driven entrepreneurs located in the Mission District, one block from 16th Street BART station. You will also travel to client sites (primarily in the East Bay to start) to deliver trainings which we anticipate to be at least 50% of your time for this position.
