Civil Construction Project Manager

Job description

JARCCO is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team for Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction. The ideal candidate oversees and manages construction projects from start to finish and should possess excellent leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager position will also have responsibilities in estimating and preconstruction.

Educational Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management

Qualifications

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as Project Manager in either Highway, Road, Street or Heavy Civil Construction Projects

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in Highway, Road, Street or Heavy Civil Construction Projects.

· Crucial to have excellent leadership skills and be a strong communicator.

· Must possess excellent organizational skills.

· In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.

· Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

· Must hold a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

· Financial Management, play applications and change Orders.

· Manage Field Operations, scheduling and coordinating with Superintendent, Project Engineer, Subcontractors, Traffic Control Supervisor, consultants, vendors and clients.

· Manage Quality Control Plan, submittals, testing coordination, RFIs, Daily Report Management, surveying coordination, grades and layouts verification. Build projects according to plans and specifications.

· Manage Safety Plan, compliance with safety regulations, company and project safety plans.

· Assist with estimating.

· Assist with Preconstruction

Candidate willing to travel within Denver Metro Area, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Colorado Mountains Area.
