    A respected, multi-disciplinary civil engineering firm with a strong presence in Pennsylvania is seeking a design-focused Civil Engineer to join its Bethlehem office. This is a full-time, career-track role with a firm that has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in PA.

    This position is ideal for a civil engineer with a strong technical background who is looking to grow within a collaborative team and play a key role in private land development projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design subdivision and land development projects including site layout, grading, utilities, profiles, and stormwater management systems
    • Interpret and apply zoning, subdivision, stormwater, and regulatory requirements for assigned projects
    • Prepare technical plans, calculations, design reports, and permitting packages
    • Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to meet quality and schedule expectations
    • Communicate regularly with project teams to manage timelines and priorities
    • Support multiple active projects with a high level of attention to detail

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in land development design
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
    • EIT certification preferred
    • Familiarity with Hydroflow and Microsoft Office tools
    • Solid understanding of stormwater and erosion control design fundamentals
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
