    Job Description

    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    We are a nationally recognized forensic and analysis engineering firm located in the North Dallas area looking for an experienced IT Administrator who can oversee all our IT needs from system admin and help desk support. The ideal candidate will manage resources and processes required to design, plan, and support all information products and services. Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing servers, network, and other IT infrastructure equipment. Prepare, maintain and keep updated IT procedures and documentation related to our processes and platforms operations.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure equipment;
    • Responsible for keeping our office and field personnel's technology running safely and efficiently 24 hours a day;
    • Maintaining our networks, systems, infrastructure, etc. for our corporate location and all branch offices;
    • Proactively monitoring IT Security;
    • Manage all IT items needed for all employees (desktops, laptops, peripherals, etc);
    • Create and maintain an information technology project plan that communicates tasks, milestone dates, status and resource allocation;
    • Manage new installations and migrations;
    • Manage resolution of system and network issues for clients;
    • Facilitate development and implementation of improvements to client's information technology systems;
    • Provide database support to our accounting, CRM, and project management systems using Power BI;
    • Secondary duties to include support of company research and development, including software development duties such as maintenance of the company intranet and creation of internal scripts and tools to support professional staff.

    WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related field
    • Self-starting and assertive, high energy, highly organized and ownership mentality;
    • Strong collaboration and presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills with ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently; and
    • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
