    Our team is hiring a CESE Equipment Operator Warehouse Support Services for the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC), in Williamsburg, VA

    The Equipment Operator provides material-handling and equipment-operation support for warehouse and logistics operations in support of Expeditionary Medical Systems (EXMEDS). This position is responsible for safely operating material-handling equipment (MHE) and vehicles to support the receiving, staging, storage, movement, and preparation of equipment and materiel required to maintain operational readiness.

    The Equipment Operator plays a key role in supporting warehouse workflows and equipment movement activities, ensuring timely and accurate handling of large, heavy, or specialized items in coordination with warehouse, logistics, and maintenance personnel.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate material handling equipment and vehicles to support receiving, staging, stowage, re-warehousing, platform stow, and movement of equipment and materiel
    • Safely operate forklifts and other MHE to move large, heavy, or awkward loads within warehouse and storage areas
    • Support preparation of equipment and materiel for storage, issue, transport, or deployment activities
    • Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning of equipment to support warehouse and operational timelines
    • Conduct pre-operation checks of equipment and report discrepancies or safety issues
    • Maintain situational awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation in active warehouse environments
    • Coordinate informally with logistics, maintenance, and warehouse staff to support workflow priorities
    • Support accountability and care of equipment, tools, and vehicles used during operations
    • Maintain clean and orderly work areas in accordance with safety practices

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as an equipment operator in a warehouse, logistics, industrial, or comparable operational environment
    • Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles and equipment supporting the movement of large or heavy loads

    Required Certifications & Licenses

    • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Class A endorsement
    • Experience operating standard transmission vehicles and vehicles with trailer endorsement
    • Ability to obtain certification to operate 4,000–30,000 lb forklifts

    Security Requirements: Valid Driver’s License; All NMRLC contractor employees must be U.S. citizens and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination (typically NACI with SF‑85/SF‑85P) sufficient to obtain and retain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) for installation, system, and facility access. Continued eligibility is required throughout contract performance, and loss of CAC or suitability status may result in removal from the contract.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting warehouse operations within a government, DoD, or logistics environment
    • Familiarity with structured warehouse workflows, staging areas, or platform stow operations
    • Experience supporting operational or deployment-driven equipment movement

    • Working knowledge of safe material handling and warehouse safety practices
