We’ve teamed up with a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm, and they are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join their Houston based Public Infrastructure team. In this role, you will support and lead technical design for municipal and public-sector projects—including roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and parks infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead on public infrastructure projects under the guidance of Project Managers.
• Prepare civil construction drawings, plans, and models using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop calculations, estimates, and specifications for roadway, drainage, water, and sewer improvements.
• Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, agencies, and subconsultants.
• Ensure QA/QC, design standards, and regulatory compliance across project work.
• Support construction administration, including bids, RFIs, and field coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Assist with schedule and budget management by identifying issues and solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (ABET).
• EIT required; Texas PE preferred or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• 3+ years of public infrastructure design experience (roadway, drainage, water/wastewater).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong civil design fundamentals
