We are seeking an experienced Civil / Mechanical QA/QC Inspector to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform QA/QC inspections on civil and mechanical work scopes, including foundations, structural steel, conveyors, piping, tanks, and mechanical equipment.

    Verify compliance with contract specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable codes/standards (AWS, ASME, ACI, ASTM, MSHA/OSHA).

    Oversee concrete pours, rebar placement, anchor bolts, and alignment checks.

    Inspect fabrication, welding, bolting, torque verification, hydro/pneumatic testing, and equipment installations.

    Review and maintain ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), QA/QC records, and turnover documentation.

    Identify, track, and document non-conformances and corrective actions.

    Support project managers and construction supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.

    Participate in pre-commissioning and final system walkdowns.

    Qualifications

    5+ years of civil or mechanical QA/QC inspection experience in mining, oil & gas, heavy industrial, or EPC projects.

    Strong knowledge of ACI, AWS D1.1, ASME piping/welding codes, and heavy mechanical installation practices.

    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.

    Proficient in torque verification, alignment, and dimensional inspection practices.

    Excellent documentation, communication, and reporting skills.

    Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Preferred

    CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or equivalent QA/QC certification.

    ACI Field Testing Technician certification.

    Experience with Procore, Autodesk, or other project management platforms.

    Prior work in mining concentrator, mill, or heavy industrial facilities.
