Responsibilities: • Working collaboratively with the Debt Lawsuit Defense team to ensure all cases are worked properly from open to close • Critical thinking for the next steps on a case within the parameters set by the firm and catered to the case's/client's needs • Resolving cases through active negotiations with the Plaintiff's Attorney • Monitoring Legal Assistant's work product • Adhering to all deadlines for cases, including motions, trials, mediations, etc. Qualifications: • Must have superb organizational and problem-solving skills • Must be knowledgeable of the TRCP • Must have e-filing experience • Must have civil litigation experience • Experience with Justice of the Peace courts is strongly preferred • Familiarity with the FDCPA and FCRA is a plus! Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
