Preconstruction Take-Off Estimator- Civil Construction

As a Leader in the Civil Construction industry for MId-TN/Nashville , Our client/company is looking for an assistant Estimator to help with their Preconstruction activities. 

We are searching for an experienced Civil Take-Off Estimator in Nashville to join their Construction Precon Department.

As a Preconstruction Assistant- you will help prepare competitive cost estimates for all civil construction projects they bid.

Furthermore, Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to win work and grow while expertly executing challenging projects -- so We are looking for the Right Person to join their team.

Overview:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements 
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare quotes and present final costs to senior management.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a an cost estimator in the civil construction industry.
• Proven track record of take-offs within civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities etc).
• Proficient in AGTEK software is preferred  
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Eye for Detail is absolutely essential.
