Your Day-to-Day

• Produce detailed civil and structural design drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks

• Develop layouts for foundations, framing systems, and site-related features

• Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, constructability standards, and multidisciplinary coordination requirements

• Collect and interpret field data, including measurements, elevations, and existing conditions

• Support engineering teams with modeling, drafting, and layout development

• Utilize technologies such as GPS surveying, laser scanning, and BIM methodologies

• Travel occasionally to client sites for meetings, field measurements, and data gathering

• Maintain accuracy and quality across all project deliverables

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of drafting experience in civil/structural design (new graduates welcome)

• Vocational or associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit, or Navisworks preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify design discrepancies

• Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and field equipment practices

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background screening and drug testing

• Ability to commute consistently to the Akron office (hybrid after training)

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Ability to work safely in industrial field environments
