We’re supporting a leading industrial engineering organization seeking a CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING MANAGER to manage the civil engineering team delivering complex capital projects. This role provides full leadership of Civil/Structural engineering execution, ensuring quality deliverables, technical excellence, and alignment across the project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Civil/Structural engineering design teams across multiple capital projects.

• Manage engineering scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and technical quality.

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and industry best practices.

• Coordinate with procurement, construction, operations, and project controls teams.

• Oversee engineering resource planning and team structure effectiveness.

• Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and safety initiatives.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and systems.

• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership and coaching.

• Support multidisciplinary collaboration and project lifecycle execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline.

• 8–10+ years of engineering experience, including team leadership.

• Experience managing engineering design teams on large industrial or capital projects.

• Strong knowledge of engineering project planning, deliverables, and design execution.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
