  • Responsibilities

    We are looking to hire a knowledgeable pest control technician to help customers identify and get rid of various pests. The pest control technician’s responsibilities include inspecting customers’ premises, advising customers on possible treatment options, and clearing up any areas littered with work-related debris. You should also be able to efficiently carry out all duties without damaging customers’ property. To be successful as a pest control technician, you should be able to accurately adjust chemical mixtures based on the quantity needed to eliminate the identified pests. Ultimately, an exceptional pest control technician should advise customers on additional services required for effective pest management programs. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality pest management services in accordance with company, manufacturer, and governmental guidelines to residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial customers • Build strong relationships with customers to be attentive to their needs in controlling pest matters • Seek opportunities for customer base growth • Read and follow all label instructions for products utilized while performing pest management services • Develop and maintain records of field activities, such as but not limited to service tickets, inspection reports, and service agreements • Collect payments from customers at the time of service, if applicable • Partner with call center and office staff to schedule/reschedule services, prioritize work, and arrange service calls as necessary Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years old • High School Diploma/GED • Valid driver’s license • Experience in the home services industry is preferred • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc. • Able to work in all types of weather conditions Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly
