    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Pay My Claim LLC (www.ClaimPay.net) provides cash flow solutions to residential & commercial property damage contractors. These are businesses who are forced to take legal action against insurance companies because they have not received payments without legal justification.

    With its head office in Miami, Pay My Claim is an investment company with over $1 Billion of committed capital. It originates, underwrites, and acquires property damage insurance claims in the US on behalf of its investors and subsequently recovers on the receivables through settlement and litigation. The company relies heavily on technology to manage its business. This expanding business has a culture that is entrepreneurial, opportunistic and deal orientated.

    The role based in Miami reports to the Chief Technology Officer and requires a person who will be supporting the maintenance of our data warehouse which drives our in-house claims management system and reporting business requirements by liaising with internal stakeholders.

    DETAIL:

    Pay My Claim requires a IT Business Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the technology side which is instrumental and crucial for the success of the business.

    In this position, your main role will be to work with internal users of the system to understand the processes and identify potential gaps in the functioning of the IT system. You will also work on making sure that the quality of data entered in the system is maintained to the highest standard at all times.

    A working knowledge of the business processes is required to ensure how the processes can be automated using technology. This is critical for monitoring and maximizing the value of our multi-million dollar portfolio of existing insurance claim investments and ensure the smooth execution of all requirements for our in-house claims management system for our always evolving business needs.  

    The IT Analyst will be responsible for:

    •           Running reports and identify crucial errors in data entry in the claims management system

    •           Working with internal stakeholders to understand their daily requirements and create dashboards, create reporting for all users using Power BI to ensure a better user experience

    •           Identify and report ongoing requirements for claims management system based on evolving business needs

    •           Work with large amounts of data and compare data from different modules in system to look for missing information using Excel and other data analysis tools

    •           Define and develop controls to ensure integrity of data and produce regular reports of the function of those controls

    •           Perform spot checks on a sample of claims purchased every day by comparing to underlying documents in the system to make sure quality of data is maintained at all times

    •           Identify possible patterns in errors and missing information which would help in rectifying the system requirements
