Responsibilities: • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation • Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information Qualifications: • Proficiency in computers is vital • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required • Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired • A minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience Compensation: $84,000 - $200,000 yearly DOE
