Resilinc is looking for a VP Finance to be the steward of our company's corporate
governance, accounting and financial reporting. This person will play a key role in
Resilinc's exciting growth.
Location: Remote
Reports to CEO and CFO (outside consultant)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage the annual / quarterly preparation of Company's financial plans and forecast
• Manage and/or prepare financial statements, financial reports, and forecasts, providing
insightful analysis of results
• Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and
timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; monitor
progress and changes and keep the CEO and the board leadership abreast of financial
status.
• Analyze budget/forecast variances to actual and review with budget owners
• Help to further develop financial models using advanced Excel techniques
• Building and maintaining the SaaS dashboard.
• Drive the timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports that will assist
the executives and leaders in managing their responsibilities.
• Oversee accurate and timely monthly financial close and reporting process. This
includes the General Ledger, Revenue Recognition, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Cash and
Consolidations
• Responsible for accurate and timely tax reporting and filings in the US and
internationally.
• Build and maintain domestic and international banking relationships.
• Manage annual audit and the relationships with external audit and tax resources.
• Lead the treasury function to optimize cash management, including efficient cash
repatriation.
• Enhance the company's internal control framework.
• Ensure debt covenant compliance.
• Work closely with senior executive leadership team
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and finance systems, upholding
federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing and
future legislation.
• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring
compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with teams across Resilinc for ongoing process improvements to increase
automation and efficiency.
• Work with outsourced finance functions while building an internal finance team in a
cost-effective geography that will help scale the company for future growth
About You:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Expert in leading Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Planning and
Analysis and Financial Operations functions with the ability to be hands-on.
• Proven leadership skills, demonstrating integrity, courage, transparency, and the
ability to build trust as well as a high-performing team.
• Detail oriented with a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
• Ability to relentlessly prioritize and execute.
• Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complicated analysis for key
decision makers.
• Unwavering ethical standards
• Be able to manage teams based in international locations and comfortable in working
with different time zones
• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus.
• 3+ years as a Controller with a $100M+ company
• Experience within a “Big 4” Accounting Firm is a plus
• You are passionate about Supply Chain and Risk Management. You're hungry for
