Our client is a top Wealth Management firm in the Richmond, VA area that works with professional athletes, medical professionals, and business owners. They are looking for a qualified, high-energy Investment Operations Associate to help continue the high level of service the firm prides itself on.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day practice workflow and processes to ensure efficient internal and external sales cycle
- Prepare and process all paperwork needed for investment & insurance accounts
- Manage all activities related to scheduling and prioritizing client service responsibilities, ensuring process and procedure best practices are established, communicated, prioritized, and implemented across the team
- Track and monitor all pending applications, service transactions, and action items pertaining to clients
- Review open opportunities/ tasks to identify the next action steps and assign them to respective team members
- Serve as primary communication liaison between team and client throughout the planning process to ensure timely execution of client deliverables and preparation for future meetings.
- Manage all incoming service issues from clients regarding plan and account inquiries and needs
- Maintain client case files, performance reports, account forms, and other paperwork required
- Prepare all materials for quarterly and annual reviews including proposals, insurance, and investment policy statements for clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience with financial services
- Degree in finance, business, or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience with CRM software
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Series 6 and 63 licenses and/ or Series 7 preferred
- Life/Health Insurance license (preferred– can obtain upon start)
- Completion of annual continuing education to maintain FINRA and company registrations required; and completion of bi-annual continuing education to maintain state life/health insurance licenses required
COMPENSATION
- $55,000-65,000 plus annual bonus opportunity
