    General responsibilities

    The responsibilities of the Jr Paraplanner are to lead and oversee the design, creation and implementation of financial plans for the firm's clients and to partner with other departments and team members of DJM Financial to ensure the highest standard of client experience and firm operations. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing financial plan generation, client meeting case prep and financial plan implementation, with a focus on client service, scalability, efficiency, accuracy and timeliness. This position is also responsible for maintaining current industry and regulatory knowledge, and for ensuring all financial

    planning operations are compliant.

    Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Oversee the design, build and implementation of all financial plans, ensuring efficient, accurate and timely execution
    • Perform or oversee unique or complex activities within the scope of financial plan implementation or updates
    • Participate in client meetings or phone calls as needed
    • Prepare client review materials in collaboration with the Financial Advisor
    • Identify opportunities to improve the firm's planning management and operations in order to enhance productivity, scale for growth, and ensure a strong client experience; implement or oversee the implementation of these improvements
    • Maintain current industry and regulatory knowledge impacting financial planning operations, and update processes as needed to ensure compliance
    • Collaborate with other departments and team members of DJM Financial to ensure the firm is well positioned for continued growth and success by continuously enhancing the client experience, associate development and firm operations

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Life and health insurance licensing preferred
    • Series 7 & 63 investment licenses required
    • 2+ years of paraplanning experience
    • Ability to adapt to changing environment and lead change
    • Ability to identify and lead improvements in business processes and best practices
    • Strong use of judgment, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management skills, with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with others
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills
