    YOUR ROLE:

    As Marketing Coordinator your role will be to assist in the delivery all marketing strategies across all events assigned to you. Drive the event experience in line with the developed brand guidelines and manage marketing budgets to set objectives. To achieve this there will be clear focus and framework for:

    • Responsible for working with Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to assist in maintaining and executing marketing strategies to meet agreed company and event objectives
    • Help to evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed
    • Works with team to execute all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities

    Main Duties and Responsibilities BRAND

    • Work with the team to develop and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy across all brands
    • Responsible for the execution of marketing of company products and services across brands in exhibitions, conferences, and the digital space
    • Assist in development of an annual marketing plan in conjunction with other key departments. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed brand and company objectives

    MARKETING

    • Direct implementation and execution of the marketing strategy for new and existing products

    • Execution of all campaigns for exhibitor and visitor promotion – emails, digital marketing, events, education, printed materials

    • Provide full reporting, analysis and interpret results which include sharing of recommended strategies that are supported by analytics across multi-channel campaigns

    • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations, and deliver lead generation

    • Working to ensure that the marketing objectives are achieved across the team

    • Work closely with conference team to create marketing materials and programs

    • Manage all media and publication deliverables

    • Assist the Marketing Manager to achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media and share results

    • Assist in the evaluation of customer research, market conditions, and competitor details to meet the portfolio objectives

    RELATIONSHIPS

    • Build and manage relationships with outside agencies and partners to support marketing efforts and deliver portfolio results
    • Further existing and forge new relationships with industry partners, publications, and media to provide industry insight and share event information
    • To demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
    • To build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on delivery to customers, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
    • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

    GENERAL

    • Monitor and evaluate performance targets
    • To visit relevant events in for the portfolio
    • To identify and maintain key customer group and partner care
    • To resolve attendee conflicts both in the office and on site
    • To work on site during the build-up and open period of the show
    • To attend training courses as agreed with your line manager
    • To represent Clarion Events in a professional manner at all times

    SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT Generally, this job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job will also require travel and exposure to conference hall environments in which safety and environmental concerns may demand constant attention.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. While at events/shows, this job may require extensive standing and walking and some pulling and lifting of products, supplies and/or equipment.

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

    This is a full -time position, 40 hours per week. Days and hours of work and days are typically Monday through Fri day, 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m., but will vary based on event/show schedules and business needs.

    TRAVEL

    Travel is expected for this posit ion for assign ed shows and as required by management.
