$8.50 PER HOUR TO START.  JOB IS LOCATED IN ATMORE, ALABAMA

This position is considered an entry level position and is responsible for being able to fill in where needed in any part of the plant and working on any shift as needed.

This position is also responsible for performing all assigned duties as a member of a flexible work team in accordance with safety rules and regulations.Preferred candidates will be motivated, positive and energetic and have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in an industrial facility.

Frequent standing (2-4 hours without a break), shoveling / sweeping (cleanup), grasping to manipulate power tools, pushing, pulling and twisting motions (pulling / stacking lumber), using hands and fingers to push buttons and switches, lifting of 10 - 50 pounds (lumber), climbing stairs, ladders, etc. Continuous use of vision needed to sort lumber, hearing to understand and respond to various equipment sounds, process alarms, radio messages, etc., working in cold and hot (wet) work areas. Responsibility: Performs duties as assigned, complies with all safety regulations and practices and follows specific directions. The tasks associated with this position include but are not limited to:- Performing all clean-up operations throughout the plant.- Assisting maintenance with repairs.- Performing all tasks with the following objectives in mind; safety, environmental, quality, productivity in accordance with plant policies and procedures.- Assist in all areas of the Plant as directed by Supervisor.
