ESTIMATOR / PLANNER - REMOTE WORK FROM HOME POSITION

REPORTS TO

The Estimator/Planner will report to the Plant Manager and/or Sales Manager.

JOB OVERVIEW - THIS IS A POSITION THAT ALLOWS YOU TO WORK FROM HOME!

Almost all of our production products start with an estimate. The work performed in this position is pivotal to the overall success of each project. The Estimator / Planner must be someone with a passion for the printing and graphic arts field and be committed to interaction with our team virtually by email, phone and zoom, at variable levels.

Estimators must have a keen eye for detail and quality control and enjoy working within a fast paced, team environment to achieve the highest quality results in the most efficient time frame possible. RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM HOME - IDEAL CANDIDATE WITHIN 4-6 HOURS OF LOUISVILLE, KY.

· Provide the most cost-efficient layout and best utilization of capabilities and capacities.

• EXPERIENCE USING EFI PRINT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

· Produce accurate estimates in a timely manner using EFI/PACE system. Collaborate with Sales department to clarify project specifications to determine most efficient production method.

· Make recommendations for upgrading standards based on technology and changes in production. Communicate requirements to vendors for pricing paper and outside services, including detailed specification and schedule information.

· Ensure jobs are estimated to meet Customers’ expectations, advise of any deviations needed, and make suggestions for best efficiency.

· Able to read and interpret information from: specification sheets, job jacket, layouts and press impositions.

· Flexibility and understanding work schedule regarding overtime and working within other departments in order to meet client needs.

· Ability to work cooperatively within a team in a busy, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

· Ensures their work area remain organized and clean.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Prefer 3-years related experience estimating commercial printing, digital printing, wide format and fulfillment using the EFI Print Management Software.

· Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in digital, large format and sheet-fed offset printing, press imposition, bindery operations, die cutting, kitting, fulfillment and mailing operations.

· Strong Analytical, problem solving and above average Math Skills.

· Working knowledgeable in Window’s Operating System. (Word, Excel etc)

· Knowledge of EFI/PACE or similar Software a plus.

· Self-motivated, reliable, dependable and cooperative.

· Understands and appreciates client demands.

· Pride in Workmanship.

· Willing to learn and adapt new technologies.

• Willingness to travel to corporate office 4 to 5 times a year for team meetings.

· Willingness to take and pass preemployment Drug Screening.
