    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Vice President of Sales who will report directly to the CEO. This person will own the PFAS destruction sales budget and strategy and will be responsible for the development and achievement of key sales goals and KPIs. This position requires the Vice President to be an experienced sales leader and be well versed in advanced technologies preferably with experience in chemical and environmental engineering. This person must be excited to sell novel technology solutions in a complex and matrixed sales environment. The ideal candidate will be highly driven to close deals based on multi-faceted value propositions.


    Essential Job Functions

    • Relentless drive to quickly and successfully close deals; Generate new and expanded business opportunities.

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting prioritized opportunities in alignment with the go-to-market strategy, market intelligence, and the business model.

    • Develop and grow key relationships with external stakeholders to drive sales objectives.

    • Implement product, channel, and sales execution strategies that integrate customer feedback, as well as economic data and forecasting to deliver product commercialization plans and targets.

    • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

    • Recruit, develop, and manage sales teams as the organization moves closer to commercialization.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with overall business strategies.

    • Travel to prospective customers' sites and offices.

    Competencies and Skills

    • Strong sales and business acumen, with a passion for matrixed sales rooted in finding the solution to customer needs.
    • Proactive management for sales processes, communicating challenges in meeting targets, etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technologies and processes and communicate effectively with both external customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to maintain regular communication and build relationships with partners to ensure technical and business priorities meet or exceed partner expectations.
    • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, with good judgement in prioritization of competing priorities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record in developing successful sales strategies.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
    • Demonstrated the ability to work with a diverse set of business unit leaders, including but not limited to executive leadership within sales & operations, and all other stakeholders.

    • Compensation: Competitive base compensation of at least $150,000 commiserate with industry experience; uncapped commission with sizable equity component as part of this executive compensation package
