LEM Trucking is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in Detroit for a dedicated position averaging $1,750 to $1,900 per week while operating primarily throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
This account does require driver unload, making it a good opportunity for Class A CDL Drivers who are comfortable with a more active driving position and want the additional earning potential that comes with it.
Dedicated Regional Schedule
Drivers remain primarily within Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, keeping the operating area concentrated around the Midwest. Home time is provided every week for a 34 hour reset.
Because this is dedicated freight, drivers work within an established account rather than moving between unrelated freight networks. The combination of a smaller operating region and consistent customer freight provides a more structured weekly routine.
Pay and Account Details
Average earnings range from $1,750 to $1,900 per week. Complete compensation and available bonus information will be reviewed during the interview so drivers understand how the account pays before moving forward.
Freight must be unloaded by the driver using a U cart. Boxes can be heavy, and applicants should be comfortable with the physical requirements involved with unloading throughout the route.
Equipment
Class A CDL Drivers operate 2019 through 2022 Freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions. Many trucks are equipped with APUs and 1500 watt inverters for additional convenience while away from home.

Orientation
New drivers complete a three day paid orientation. Both virtual and in person orientation options are available. For drivers attending in person, a private hotel room is provided and covered orientation expenses are paid by the company.
Class A CDL Driver Requirements
Applicants need a valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months of Class A tractor trailer experience within the previous 12 months. Drivers must be able to safely perform the physical unloading requirements of the account and meet applicable DOT qualification standards.
