Spend your week running familiar Southeast freight lanes and get back home for the weekend. LEM Trucking is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in Birmingham, AL for a regional position covering Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and surrounding areas.

Drivers earn between $1,200 and $1,550 per week based on miles, experience, and applicable additional pay. Detention and layover compensation are available when qualifying situations occur.

This fleet is designed around a predictable weekly schedule. Drivers stay productive during the week and return home for their weekend reset instead of remaining on the road for extended periods.

Freight is 100 percent no-touch dry van, with a combination of drop-and-hook and live load customers. Established regional lanes help provide consistent freight while keeping the operating area concentrated throughout the Southeast.

Equipment and Benefits

Each CDL A Truck Driver operates late-model automatic equipment with an inverter for added convenience on the road. Trucks receive routine maintenance and may be taken home when safe truck parking is available or parked at an approved location.

Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical, dental, and vision coverage along with available retirement plan options and paid vacation.

CDL A Driver Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, meet applicable DOT qualification standards, and successfully complete required screening.
