Southeast Freight Without Loading or Unloading

LEM Trucking is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Birmingham, Alabama, for a regional dry van operation covering Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and surrounding Southeast states.

Drivers average $1,200 to $1,550 per week while transporting 100 percent no-touch freight. This position allows drivers to concentrate on completing scheduled deliveries without routinely handling cargo or unloading trailers.

    Established Regional Freight Lanes

Loads move throughout a concentrated Southeast operating area rather than across a nationwide OTR network. Freight includes drop-and-hook assignments and scheduled live loading or unloading appointments.

A Class A CDL Truck Driver returns home on weekends for regular time off before beginning the next weekly driving cycle.

Weekly earnings depend on mileage, experience, and applicable additional compensation. Detention and layover pay are available when qualifying delays occur.

    Position Highlights

    • Average weekly earnings between $1,200 and $1,550

    • Home on weekends for a regular reset

    • 100 percent no-touch dry van freight

    Automatic Equipment and Driver Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver operates a late-model automatic Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth tractor equipped with a power inverter.

Trucks receive routine maintenance and may be parked at home when safe parking is available. Approved parking locations are also available when home parking is not suitable.

Medical, dental, and vision coverage begins after 30 days for eligible drivers. Retirement plan options and paid vacation are also offered.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Requirements

Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and have a minimum of three months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
