Job Description

$1,400-$1,800 a week. This is percentage position - 27% of the line haul. 1 round is usually about $472 - needs to be a minimum of 3 rounds per week. Round robin (most of the time)

MUST BE ON TIME.

Bring steel up to customer and bring back scrap / crush cars back to Midlothian. Most of the time, it is a drop / hook. some loads do need to be tarped depending on the customer

Driving Responsibilities

• Transporting finished goods and / or raw materials
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light preventative maintenance as needed
• Comply with all commercial motor vehicle regulations as well as company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Class A CDL required

Qualifications

• Class a CDL required
• At least 23 years old.
• 1 year of driving experience with a Class A commercial vehicle driver’s license.
• No DWI or DUI listed on MVR in the past three (3) years.
• No more than one “at-fault” accident on MVR within the past three (3) years.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen as established by the U.S. Department of Transportation in 49 CFR Parts 391 and 40.
