LEM Trucking is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Columbus, Georgia, for an OTR position featuring assigned automatic Kenworth T680 tractors and established dry van freight.

Drivers operate model year 2020 or newer equipment equipped for extended road trips. The fleet averages approximately 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week, with typical weekly earnings ranging from $1,200 to $1,600.

A Freight Operation Focused on Driving

Loads include drop-and-hook assignments and scheduled live pickup or delivery appointments. Drivers are not required to physically load or unload customer freight.

A Class A CDL Truck Driver works with dispatch and load planners to complete assigned trips throughout the year-round freight network.

This operation is designed for drivers comfortable with extended OTR travel while maintaining regularly scheduled opportunities to return home.

Pay, Mileage, and Home Time

• Average weekly earnings between $1,200 and $1,600

• Approximately 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week

• Guaranteed weekly pay eligibility after the first 30 days

• Home every other week plus six additional personal days monthly

• Assigned 2020 or newer automatic Kenworth T680 tractors

Performance-based compensation reviews provide opportunities for pay increases as drivers build experience with the fleet.

Truck Features and Benefits

Each Class A CDL Truck Driver operates assigned equipment with an APU, power inverter, and sleeper accommodations designed for overnight travel.

Eligible drivers can enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverage. Company-paid life insurance and vacation pay are also available.

Paid orientation is provided, with qualifying travel expenses covered during onboarding.

Class A CDL Truck Driver Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid Class A CDL and have at least three months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the previous three years.

Candidates must satisfy applicable DOT qualifications and company driving record standards.
