Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area

We are hiring a Class A driver for local heavy-haul work on flatbed, Landoll, and RGN equipment. This position is home daily. It is not over-the-road, wrecker, or dry-van work.

Responsibilities

Transport construction equipment, commercial vehicles, and machinery throughout the Baltimore / Washington / Central Maryland area and nearby job sites

Load, secure, and unload freight on flatbed, sliding-axle Landoll, and removable-gooseneck (RGN) trailers

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs, and follow dispatch instructions

Scale loads and comply with size, weight, and permit requirements

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Manual-transmission qualified (no automatic restriction; proficiency will be verified)

Current DOT medical card

Insurable driving record

Ability to pass a DOT drug screen

Minimum age 21

Demonstrated ability to properly chain, bind, and secure heavy equipment

License endorsements

Please list all CDL endorsements on your application (for example: H — Hazardous Materials, N — Tank, T — Doubles/Triples, P — Passenger, X — Combination Tank/HazMat). None of these endorsements is required for this position.

Preferred

Valid TWIC card

Prior Landoll and/or RGN experience

Oversize / overweight permit experience

Experience loading construction equipment and commercial vehicles
