Position Details

• **Pays $1,350 - $1,550 Weekly Minimum Guaranteed

• **Routes primarily cover IA, IL, IN, KS, MN, MO, ND, SD, NE, WI, with frequent Chicago driving

• No pets or passengers allowed

Requirements

• **Minimum 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience
  **

• **Comfortable with maneuvering in downtown Chicago
  **

• **Physical ability to handle and lift 40-75 lbs
  **

• **Valid CDL and doubles endorsement preferred
  **

• Must get 2 personal references from the driver to put in the application.

**Flex drivers must be willing to run both solo and team routes.

Flex drivers are responsible for filling in for drivers who are out sick, on vacation, etc.

Work consists of delivering aftermarket parts (loose package pieces i.e. hoods, bumpers, doors, etc.) to Honda dealerships.

If on a night route, the driver will be given the keys to unlock the gate/doors at the dealership.

Drivers are responsible for unloading the trailer, scanning in the new load being delivered, picking up returns, and locking the dealership back up before heading out.

Drivers must be comfortable maneuvering a tractor-trailer in tight corridors in car lots, primarily in Chicago at night.

Hiring area within a 50-mile radius of Davenport, IA.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 1700 - 0030.

Home time depends on the route, with guaranteed weeke**

Miles: 1500 Solo / 3000 Team Miles - Averages 8 stops per route.

Freight types: Touch freight including automotive parts (cages, totes, loose pieces).

Truck speed set at 65 mph pedal and cruise.

Accessorial pay includes stop pay and delay pay.

Parking available at Honda part center in Davenport, IA.

Training required for all drivers, paid hourly at $18.54.** **

Pay increases based on mileage after specific intervals.**
