    Chaska, MN | Direct Hire | $35 – $42/hr (DOE)

    Shift Hours:
    1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday (Overtime may be required)

    Are you a highly skilled Toolmaker with CNC programming experience? We’re partnering with a well-established plastic injection molding company to find a hands-on professional to join their Toolroom team. In this role, you’ll contribute to the building, repair, and revision of high-quality molds, fixtures, and related tooling.

    CNC Programmer / Toolmaker Responsibilities:

    • Build, repair, and revise molds, fixtures, and related tooling.

    • Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools (3-axis milling).

    • Use CAD models and technical drawings to plan and execute work.

    • Design and create CAD models/drawings for mold components as needed.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical mold issues.

    • Prepare tooling components for outside vendor services.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

    • Manage tooling projects within time and budget constraints.

    • Order components and materials as needed.

    • Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training.

    • Operate forklifts and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

    CNC Programmer / Toolmaker Qualifications:

    • Trade school graduate in toolmaking/machining OR 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.

    • 4+ years of experience in plastic injection moldmaking.

    • Proficient in 3-axis CNC mill programming from solid models.

    • Solid modeling and 3D programming experience.

    • Strong communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Familiarity with quality assurance systems (OTP preferred).

    • Willingness to occasionally travel to vendor sites.
