    About the Role

You will operate motorized golf carts or utility shuttle carts to safely transport patients, visitors, and staff across the facility campus. This role requires a high degree of courtesy, reliability, and careful driving to navigate pedestrian walkways, parking structures, and designated medical facility routes safely.

    Key Responsibilities

Safely operate multi-passenger electric or gas-powered utility golf carts on designated facility pathways and parking areas.

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, answering basic campus directory questions, and assisting passengers with loading and unloading personal items or light luggage.

Assist passengers with limited mobility in safely entering and exiting the vehicle.

Perform basic pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections of the cart, including checking tire pressure, battery charge levels, canopy integrity, and brake functionality.

Maintain clean, orderly, and hygienic vehicle conditions by wiping down seating areas and removing debris daily.

Adhere strictly to the facility's speed limits, safety protocols, and designated pedestrian-right-of-way rules.

    Qualifications & Skills

Active California Class C Driver’s License.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major recent violations or active suspensions.

Previous experience operating utility carts, shuttle vehicles, or working in a customer-facing role is preferred.

Strong communication skills, a patient and respectful demeanor, and a safety-conscious mindset.
