Straight Line Customs Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Classic Car Auto Mechanic to join our team in Prior Lake, MN. Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and restore classic and vintage vehicles to factory or custom specifications

Perform engine upgrades, tune-ups, and mechanical overhauls on antique and classic automobiles

Inspect and repair classic car brake systems, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components

Fabricate or source hard-to-find parts for vintage vehicle restoration projects

Collaborate with customers to understand restoration goals and provide expert mechanical recommendations

Document repair and restoration work accurately, including parts used and labor performed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as an auto mechanic, with a strong focus on classic or vintage vehicle restoration

Deep knowledge of older mechanical systems, carburetors, points ignition, and period-correct components

Ability to read and interpret vintage automotive schematics and service manuals

Experience with fabrication, welding, or custom parts sourcing is a strong plus

Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Genuine passion for classic cars and automotive history

Must supply own tools
