Job Description

SUMMARY. This position is responsible for analyzing content from multiple data types (documents, photos, spreadsheets, reports) and organizing them for efficient retrieval. Daily tasks will involve updating, editing, and sorting data on various platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and our own internal systems).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile, prepare, sort and organize documents for data entry
• Gather specs for new products
• Research retail pricing for all accounts
• Update customer portal with new or discontinued products
• Keep trade show calendar up to date
• Create packaging forms for customers
• Keep log for Quality Control up to date
• Provide excellent customer service via telephone, customer portal, and emails
• Verify and analyze data on documents to correct any discrepancies as necessary
• Obtain any missing information on documents to assure these are complete and accurate
• Enter data into the system accurately and efficiently; update data and delete unnecessary files
• Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required
• Transcribe information into required electronic format accurately and efficiently
• Check all completed work for accuracy
• Store completed documents in designated department file locations
• Respond to requests for information; access relevant information
• Other tasks and projects as assigned manager
