JOB REQUIREMENTS

SUMMARY. The mid-level position is responsible for providing Tier 1 level technical support for internal as well as remote employees over a wide range of devices and IT services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setting up users which include: creating emails, running cables, lifting monitors and computers, installing printers, phones and getting underneath workspaces.
• Image machines, deployment of new workstations, patch management, debug issues and hardware upgrades.
• Maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 users in the admin dashboard. 
• Monitor security portals and remediate reported issues.
• Report and respond to SOC notifications as they occur.
• Identify problems in the environment and escalate as needed to Service Desk Manager.
• Support Windows and MAC systems; Support iOS and Android mobile platforms.
• Provide phone support for inbound & outbound support calls to the Service Desk.
• Provide front line end user support for multiple clients.
• Remote support for desktops, notebooks, and mobile devices
• Notice trends, diagnose root cause and recommend long term solutions to recurring problems.
• Document all incidents, problems, and requests in the company ticketing system.
• Travel to tradeshows nationwide to set up and support all technical aspects - minimum of 4 times annually.
• Other IT support projects as assigned to the IT team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum 8 – 10 year of experience supporting Window, MAC, iOS, Android working with end users and support.
• Minimum 3 – 5 year of experience managing Microsoft Office 365 admin dashboards.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamental concepts and their application
• Experience in troubleshooting the current versions of Microsoft Office Desktop Applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience working in an IT support environment.
• Experience working with end users at all levels.
• AA degree or technical degree.
• Strong communication skills; writing skills; professional demeanor.
• Good people skills; shows initiative and ownership, well organized; infuses trust.

DESIRED CAPABILITIES

• Experience in supporting audio and video conferences.
• Knowledge and experience with Manage Engine Ticketing system.
• Knowledge and experience with N-Central.
• Knowledge in managing Azure applications.
• Knowledge on Cyber security stacks and frameworks
